Wausau Whitewater Park – Release Days

We have good and bad news- this summer we are updating the course because our partner Wisconsin Public Service needs to do work on their hydro which will cause a draw down of the river for our season. We understand this might be a bummer for many of you but hopefully you will understand and we welcome this opportunity to help us keep our course at a world class level! The timeframe for the repair is from mid-April to November.
Stay tuned for more details to come later on our course improvements. We plan on being back in full operation in 2020 with our rec releases and events and looking possibly at bringing two new events to our park in addition to the Midwest Freestyle Championships and TRR events.
WPS is a great partner for our park in working with our releases and events- providing dam operators on the weekends when we need them.
Please keep the comments positive.
Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Pick up and Delievery

Divepoint constantly cycles through an assortment of over 200 kayaks between their two locations.  Their variety is sure to fit your needs for size, fit, brand, and color.  You can pick up your boat at either location, just let us know if Stevens Point or Wausau is closer.  We deliver for free within both areas.

Kayak Demo Day is everyday!

Come out and try Kayaking for yourself, its easy, its fun, and its free! You would not purchase a new car before you took it for a test drive now would you?  You should not buy a kayak after just sitting in one on the display floor, you should “try before you buy”.  Everyone is welcome, even if you have never paddled a kayak before.  There is absolutely no obligation or hidden fee whatsoever.

Our helpful and friendly staff will assist you in and out of the boats, and with a moment of instruction you will experience first hand why kayaking is the fastest growing sport in the United States.

Also, unlike similar events elsewhere, we DO NOT have mile-long lines to get in a Kayak!
