Enriched Air Nitrox EANx Diver

Diving with enriched air extends your bottom time by reducing the amount of nitrogen your body absorbs.

Will you be joining us on a vacation to the world’s best SCUBA diving in Bonaire? You’ll want to complete this class because Enriched air upgrade is free–if you’re NITROX certified. The cost of this course is $100.

Rescue Diver

Develop your knowledge and skill so you can properly perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. This is a two-day course; The cost of this course is $175, includes book.

Certification in first aid and CPR by a PADI recognized agency is required for this class.

Ice Diver

Explore the unique aquascape found only under ice. You can be one of the few that have ever dived under a solid ceiling of ice. You might get a chance to play with your exhaled air bubbles on the bottom of the ice or an opportunity to try the unique sport of upside down, bottom of the ice, skiing. You will complete a minimum of three ice dives for your certification. Dives are typically done as a group working with support personnel, divers, tenders, and safety divers. You are under the ice to learn to control buoyancy, navigate under the ice, and keep in contact with the lead diver and tenders via line pulls. The cost of this Certification is $150.

Wreck Diver

Want to explore sunken ships, crashed planes and lost treasures beneath the surface? An evening classroom session is done prior to this weekend of breathtaking diving. This class includes four dives over two days. The cost is $150, including the manual.

  • Classroom – August 5th; Dives – August 9th & 10th (Concurrent with Munising, MI Trip)

 

Night Diver

There is an entirely different cast of critters underwater after the sun goes down.The adventure, thrill and excitement of night diving can be yours when you complete your PADI Night Diver specialty course. You’ll learn to plan a night dive, select, use, and maintain the proper equipment, and navigate underwater at nigh. You practice these skills on three night dives.

Go night diving and see the underwater world in a whole new “light.”

Search & Recovery

Spend time in, on, and around water and sooner or later, you’ll come across someone who lost something underwater.  If you’re looking for challenge and excitement–along with doing your good deed for the day–the PADI Search and Recovery Diver specialty course is for you. It gives you the skills you need to find what’s been lost, and how to get it to the surface. This is a two-day course; The cost of this course is $150.

Deep Diver

After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts divers. Techniques for diving in the deeper  range of 18-40 metres/ 60-130 feet. Deep scuba diving equipment considerations. Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four deep dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor

Equipment Repair Class

Whether it’s a blown o-ring, regulator problem, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, you can learn how to manage basic scuba equipment adjustments.

As a PADI Equipment Specialist, you are prepared for the basic scuba equipment maintenance, care and adjustments you’ll encounter every day. In addition, you’ll learn interesting background information about how your gear works, how it’s repair and other information that helps you with your equipment investment. Review the theory, principles and operation of scuba diving equipment. Learn about routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures, and equipment storage. How to overcome common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures (may include a demonstration of repair procedures. Gain simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new gear (may include optional confined water dive to try new or unfamiliar equipment).
