Open Water Certification Dives
To complete your scuba certification 2 separate days are required by PADI to complete the
4 open water certification dives. Space is limited, so book soon. Dates and locations are
subject to change due to weather and water conditions.
Open Water Certification Dives are done at local lakes and quarries. If you are planning on
meeting us at the dive site, please call to confirm (to insure that we have equipment for you).
YOU MUST CALL AT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE YOUR SPACE.
IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP YOUR SCHEDULED DATE, PLEASE CALL AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE TO CANCEL.
What Time/Where Do We Meet? What Is Expected...?
Meet at Divepoint Scuba by 7:45 a.m. unless the instructor has told you differently.
(Mid week dives may be at different times). Bring your swimsuit, towel, snack, and
something to drink. You will also need to bring your mask, fins, snorkel, wet suit
boots and gloves. Bring your log book. All other Scuba equipment is provided for you.
If you are using your own scuba system, it must be ready for use prior to your
scheduled date. Some of the dive sites require an entrance fee that you are responsible for.
Certified friends and family are welcome to dive with us. Please call to confirm the
availability of gear if needed.
