Equipment Additions
Divepoint is really growing and we are very exicted about our future. We have added
several lines of new equipment, Speedo and Thule racks to name a few. If you didn't know it
already, we have expanded our kayak rentals to include sit-on-top models you can dive from.
We are adding water filters and Nalgene bottles to our climbing equipment for adventure
seekers or for travelers who want fast pure drinking water.
Sad News, A Beloved Loss...
Now for the sad news, our beloved collie/husky mutt Keesa died this summer. She spent the
last 13.5 years helping Bob here at the shop. She was very calm and gentle, a wonderful store
dog. Many of our customers can in just to see her. She became ill very suddenly and we put her
to sleep quickly. It was a very difficult time for the entire family. We didn't wast anytime in
finding a new pet (not that we can every replace Keesa), but a house just isn't a home without a
dog. Stop in at the shop and you can meet Tikka the Terrible. She is a pure bread collie puppy
with lots of energy and sharp puppy teeth. We are hopeful that she will calm down and make a
greate dive shop dog too.
